Financial Services Executive Search — 6-Month Paid Internship
This is not a traditional internship.
Shadowhound Ltd, a financial services executive search boutique, is looking for an exceptionally curious, AI-native graduate to join us for a 6-month contract.
We want someone who is genuinely interested in how AI can improve the way businesses operate — someone who instinctively uses tools like ChatGPT, Claude and automation platforms in their daily life. Your role will be to work across the business identifying inefficiencies, repetitive workflows and operational bottlenecks, then designing and implementing practical AI-driven solutions that save time, improve output quality and increase scalability. You will work directly with leadership and gain exposure across multiple areas of the business, including research, workflow design, reporting, internal systems, knowledge management and business operations.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Work with existing teams to identify inefficiencies and spot opportunities for automation
- Map repetitive tasks and manual processes
- Recommend AI tools, automations and workflow improvements
- Build lightweight AI systems to improve productivity
- Help standardise prompting and AI usage across teams
- Build internal AI procedures and documentation
Research & Experimentation
- Stay on top of emerging AI tools and trends (external training can be sought)
- Test new products and evaluate business use cases
- Present ideas and prototypes to the management team
- Identify where AI can create competitive advantage
Automation & Systems
- Help automate reporting, admin and operational tasks
- Improve internal knowledge organisation
- Explore opportunities around data enrichment, research automation and workflow integration
- Work alongside teams to ensure solutions are practical and adopted
What We’re Looking For
- Recent graduate who is naturally AI-native — already using AI tools heavily in daily life
- Extremely curious, proactive, and commercially minded, not just technical
- Strong problem-solving mindset, both strategic and practical
- Comfortable learning new software independently
- Strong communication and presentation skills, including creating process documentation
- Organised, analytical and detail-oriented
- A genuine interest in finance, financial markets and business strategy
