Canice is the Chief Executive Officer of Shadowhound, which he founded in 2010 as a natural extension to a first career in banking. He specialises in Rates trading and leadership roles on both the buy-side and sell-side working with our Hedge Fund, Investment Bank and other sell-side clients on a global basis.
Canice began his career at Goldman Sachs in 1993, joining Lehman Brothers seven years later where he was responsible for EMEA Rates and Credit Sales. In 2008, Canice joined Nomura to run FID product sales in EMEA as well as being instrumental in the US build-out.
Canice holds an MA from the University of Edinburgh.
Stephen joined Shadowhound in May 2013 and serves as Head of the European Executive Search Practice; responsible for the development and management of the business in Europe alongside our CEO.
Stephen has focused on Fixed Income since 2010 and operates across both the sell-side and buy-side. He has completed senior searches across a number of disciplines including Sales, Trading, Portfolio Management, DCM and Strategy. He is additionally responsible for our European Fixed Income Sales business and jointly established the European Credit business out of London.
Prior to joining Shadowhound, he was part of the Fixed Income Sales team at a boutique Executive Search firm in London and began his headhunting career in M&A and Private Equity recruitment at one of the large global recruitment firms. In his previous career, Stephen established and ran several marketing businesses as a Director of AS24 LTD.
Stephen holds a BA in Economics & Business from the University of the West of England.
Natalie joined Shadowhound in 2016. She is a Consultant specialising in EMEA Rates Trading and Emerging Markets. She works closely with our sell-side and buy-side clients on all Rates Trading and Emerging Markets mandates.
Natalie has built an extensive network of relationships within the Rates Trading and EM space, successfully placing senior traders into Portfolio Management roles at leading Hedge Funds as well as Managing Director to Analyst level traders in market making seats. In addition to trading, she also covers structuring, strategy and research within the EMEA Rates space.
Natalie previously worked at Bloomberg within their Financial Markets Events team. She also held internships at various top legal firms in London including Locke Lord and Blackstone Chambers.
Natalie holds a BA degree in History from King’s College London.
Alano joined Shadowhound in June 2017 as a Consultant, working on buy-side mandates with a focus primarily on Hedge Funds and Asset Management.
He has more than 30 years’ experience in Global Fixed Income and brings with him a considerable network from the buy-side community coupled with very strong technical skills – particularly in options, inflation and technical relative value products. He joined Lehman Brothers in 1992 where he worked until 2008, initially in Central Banks and Real Money Fixed Income Sales before moving to concentrate on Hedge Fund Sales as an MD. Subsequently, he worked at Nomura on the Hedge Fund desk as an MD until 2015.
Alano is additionally active in tutoring university students and graduate interns in Finance.
Alano holds a BA in Music from Oakland University, an MM in Music Theory from Indiana University and an MBA from Indiana University.
Emma joined Shadowhound in 2018 and is a Consultant on the Global Markets team, based in London. She specialises in Credit across EMEA and APAC regions and works closely with our Investment Bank and Hedge Fund clients to support their needs across Sales, Trading, Portfolio Management, Structuring and DCM.
Emma previously worked with a mid-cap corporate broker in London before joining Shadowhound.
Emma holds a BA degree in History from the University of Exeter.
Areti joined Shadowhound in 2022 as a Researcher on the Global Markets team. She predominantly focuses on Fixed Income Sales, Credit and DCM mandates, working on searches alongside senior consultants and providing in depth market research across the Fixed Income space.
Areti holds a BA in Politics and Modern History from The University of Manchester and a MA in International Relations from Queen Mary, University of London.
Christophe joined Shadowhound in 2021 and works for us on an ad hoc basis as a Consultant based in Paris. He focuses on both local and global mandates with Hedge Funds, Investment Banks and other sell-side firms. He specialises in Linear and non-Linear Trading, Portfolio Management, Risk, Quant, Strategy, XVA and Repo hiring across the Rates and Fixed Income space.
Prior to joining Shadowhound, Christophe spent nearly 20 years trading Interest Rates and Fixed Income products at major institutions including Dexia, Deutsche Bank, Morgan Stanley, Wells Fargo and Westpac. During his 20 years’ experience on the sell-side he worked across numerous financial centres including NYC, Hong Kong, Tokyo and London and spent 9 years managing traders as Head of Fixed Income Trading Europe & Americas, Head Non-Yen Rates Flow Trading and Head of Rates Trading APAC.
Christophe graduated from ESILV (Paris) Engineering school with a Major in Mathematics and Financial Engineering (MSc. equivalent).
Hannah joined Shadowhound as a Global Markets Researcher in 2023. She is predominantly focused on FX mandates across sales, trading and research whilst also supporting other areas of the Fixed Income business.
Hannah previously completed an internship at Aviva Investors and prior, supported the Financial Crime team at Macfarlanes LLP.
Hannah holds an MA in History from University College London and a BA from the University of Nottingham.
Iulia joined Shadowhound as a Rates Trading Researcher in July 2025. She is predominantly focused on senior fixed income mandates across trading.
Prior to joining Shadowhound, Iulia worked as an Executive Search Consultant, specialising primarily within the life sciences and engineering sectors.
Iulia holds an MSc in Neuroscience from University College London.
Erinn joined Shadowhound US in September 2016. She is based in New York and serves as Head of the US Executive Search Practice, reporting directly into our CEO.
Erinn is focused on senior Fixed Income mandates across both the buy-side and sell-side, alongside her responsibilities for the management of the business and team in the US.
Prior to joining Shadowhound, Erinn worked in both Executive Search and internal Corporate Recruiting, most recently as the Head of US Recruiting for the Royal Bank of Scotland (Stamford). Prior to joining RBS, she was an Executive Search Consultant for 5 years primarily focused on Fixed Income. She began her career at Bear Stearns in 2004 in Commercial Mortgage Backed Securities.
Erinn holds a BS in Human and Organizational Development from Vanderbilt University.
Kristin joined Shadowhound US in January 2022 as a Global Markets Researcher. Whilst she has experience working with Credit, EM, FX, and other FICC products, she is most well versed in the Interest Rates space.
Prior to Shadowhound, Kristin worked at River Road Asset Management (RRAM), an institutional investment firm based in Louisville, KY, that manages $10B in assets. She spent three years supporting RRAM’s Dividend All Cap Value Portfolio Managers, before transitioning to HR, where she oversaw the firm’s recruiting efforts.
Kristin holds a BBA in Marketing from the University of Notre Dame (2005).
